dc.description.abstract The New Skills for New Jobs project is a partnership between the European Union, the Department of Higher Education (DHET), PRASA and the CSIR. The project aims to develop a better understanding of future infrastructure skills needs and how these can be met through improving the links between education, skills, labour markets and industry. The paper presents the methodology developed in the project, reviews European rail sector best practice examples in their context, and outlines the way forward for PRASA and DHET. en
