dc.description.abstract The presence of Paneth cells, traditionally believed to be absent in the crypts of the domestic pig, Sus scrofa (Linnaeus,1758), has been confirmed in this report. The cells were found approximately 104 cm from the pyloric valve and occurred mainly along the sides and in the lower half of the crypts of Lieberkühn. en_ZA
