dc.description.abstract Photograph depicting a flat fronted cupboard from Koopmans De Wet House. Between the top and bottom parts is a sliding shelf for sorting linen. In relatively simple style, it has plain escutcheons, but the feet and key block are carved. It is the same piece decribed on pages 114 and 120, and shown in Fig. 150 (photographed by Arthur Elliot) on p. 122, of the 1960 edition of "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa" by G. E. Pearse. en_US
