dc.description.abstract Advocate Charles te Water (1906-1964) was the South African High Commissioner in London during the 1930's. In 1947 he became the first President of the Northern Transvaal branch of the Arts Association. He acted as the Chancellor of the University of Pretoria from 1949-1964. en_US
