dc.description.abstract The relationship between system performance and the level of logistic support that a system receives is discussed. A theoretical optimum level of logistic support is defined and it is shown that the determination of this optimum entails a complex search procedure. Computer software that can be used in the search for the optimum level of logistic support is discussed and the use thereof illustrated by means of a simple example. en_US
