dc.description.abstract The small intestines are unopened. The numerous white foci, 1-2 mm in diameter each comprise an area in the mucosa where there is a severe infection of epithelial cells. The reddened, hyperaemic intestinal wall indicates that an acute inflammatory process is also present. en_US
