| dc.description | Clinical history : A 26 year old female in a terminal stage of aneurysm, shock, sweating and jaundice. | |
| dc.description | She has become progressively weak and had 12 hours prior to her death. | |
| dc.description | Autopsy findings : 1. Typhoid ulcer of Peyer's plaques in the small intestine with lymphoidal hyperplasia of the small and large intestines. | |
| dc.description | 2. The spleen weighed 250g and the parenchyma and lymphoidal follicles are reasonably prominent. | |
| dc.description | 3. The mesenteric lymph nodes and the lymph of the porta hepatis had become enlarged. | |
