dc.descriptionClinical history : A 69 year old white male patient complaining of acute abdominal pain.
dc.descriptionLaparotomy showed intestinal infarction due to thrombosis of mesenterial vein 50% intestinal resection with reanastomosis was performed.
dc.descriptionInitial post operative response was favourable but seven days later hypertension and renal failure developed.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Mesenterial venous thrombosis and interstitial infarction.
dc.description2. Subacute peritonitis.
dc.description3. Analgesic nephropathy.
dc.description4. Centrilobular liver cell necrosis.
