Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A white man 39-years old collapsed while mowing the lawn.
Subarachnoid haemorrhage was diagnosed and angiogram showed large aneurysm of right medial cerebral artery.
Postoperative hemiparesis developed and the patient died after 48 hours.
Autopsy findings : 1. Congenital aneurysm of left cerebri media.
2. Brain infarction in basal ganglia and cortex and right-sided edema.
3. Haemorrhage in pons and midbrain.
Diagnosis: Aneurysm of circle of Willis.
