dc.descriptionHistory of peptic ulceration was present and examination showed severe anaemia.
dc.descriptionMelena stool was passed and the patient collapsed suddenly.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Chronic bronchitis and vesicular emphysema.
dc.description2. Cor pulmonale.
dc.description3. Large chronic peptic ulcer in pyloric antrum with signs of haemorrhage from artery in bed of ulcer.
dc.description4. Intestinal tract filled with dark coloured blood.
dc.descriptionDiagnosis: Chronic peptic ulcer with intestinal haemorrhage as complication of severe emphysema.
