This study explores the development of my personal normative position in relation to architectural theory and practice, termed “Slow architecture”. Rooted in the principles of Slow Food, a Slow approach to architecture will be contextualised within global architectural theory and within local architectural practice. Slow architecture emphasises a deliberate, thoughtful approach to design and construction. It advocates for a mindful engagement with the environment, community, and materials, fostering a deeper connection between place and people. By integrating theoretical perspectives with practical applications, this study aims to propose Slow architecture as a viable and impactful approach in contemporary architectural discourse.en_US
