Description
Clinical history : A 39 year old male with an upset stomach which lasted for 3 weeks.
Investigation shows the patient probably had enlarged nodular liver with ascites.
Autopsy findings : 1. Septal liver fibrosis and siderosis.
2. Small primary hepatocellular carcinoma.
3. Siderosis with hemochromatic distribution of the iron.
4. Tuberculosis lymphadenitis.
5. Duodenal ulcer.
Diagnosis: Bantu siderosis with hemochromatic distribution
