Description
Clinical history : A 58-year-old woman was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma large cell type in June 1979.
She responded to treatment but in February 1984 presented with abdominal swelling and pain.
Examination showed hepatomegaly and lymphadenopathy that did not respond to treatment.
Diagnosis of recurrent lymphoma was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Small cell carcinoma of left main bronchus.
2. Metastatic carcinoma in lymph nodes and liver.
3. Emphysema.
Diagnosis: 1. Small cell bronchial carcinoma.
2. Emphysema
