Description
Clinical history : A 70 year old man with back ache had lytic lesions of the vertebral column on X-ray examination.
Diagnosis of metastatic carcinoma was made but no primary tumour could be found.
Protein electrophoresis showed an abnormal band in the beta-gamma region and immuno-electrophoresis showed the presence of IGG protein.
Autopsy findings : 1. Multiple myelomatosis.
2. Renal involvement with uraemia.
Diagnosis: Multiple myelomatosis
