dc.descriptionClinical history : A 33 year old male with swelling in the neck and a superior mediastinal syndrome.
dc.descriptionInvestigation shows signs of lymphadenopathy of the neck and multiple enlarged glands in the mediastinum with obstruction of the superior vena cava.
dc.descriptionHistology of the glands showed metastatic carcinoma.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Peripheral large cell carcinoma of the posterior basal segment of the inferior lobe of the right lung.
dc.description2. Multiple metastasis in the mediastinal glands and cervical axial lymph nodes.
