Description
Clinical history : A 45 year old female with chest pain and was later referred to a psychologisgt who found a papilledema and investigation shows the patient had high intracranial pressure with normal sized ventricles.
A ventricular catheter was placed and an operation was done.
Autopsy findings : 1. No macro or microscopic deviations in the brain.
2. Left lateral ventricle plate due to ventricular tapping.
3. No signs of mechanical ventricular obstruction.
4. Pronounced centri-lobular emphysema.
Diagnosis: Increased intracranial pressure with emphysema
