Description
Clinical history : A 10 week female with a history of cyanosis.
Autopsy findings : The pulmonary veins open in a separate opening superior to that of the left atrium which was also enlarged post mortem. The atrium was also communicated with the true strium at the middle of a sieve shaped memebrane and the left ventricle was small and showed pronounced fibro-elastosis.
The right side of the heart showed pronounced hypertrophy.
Diagnosis: Cor triatriatum
