dc.descriptionClinical history : A male patient 60 years of age suffered severe backache and was treated for intervertebral disc lesion.
dc.descriptionHe developed clinical signs of bilateral pneumonia and died suddenly.
dc.descriptionDiagnosis of pulmonary embolism was made.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Peripheral carcinoma of the medial aspect of the upper lobe of the left lung.
dc.description2. Lymphatic extension of tumour, partial bronchial obstruction and focal bronchiectasis.
dc.description3. Lymph node metastases in tracheobronchial nodes in hilus of lung.
