Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A female child I½ years old with congenital heart defect drainage and atrium septum defect.
Body weight of 20lbs was awaited before operation could be done but the patient contracted bronchopneumonia.
Autopsy findings : 1. Total abnormal pulmonary venous malformation.
2. All the pulmonary veins opened together into the superior vena cava with no flow to left atrium.
3. Open ductus arteriosus, small VSD.
Diagnosis: Total abnormal pulmonary venous drainage
