dc.descriptionClinical history : A 16 year old male with a heart murmur and was diagnosed with mitral stenosis and was also investigated for bacterial endocarditis.
dc.descriptionHe also had splenomegaly and drumstick fingers with a mid diastolic murmur.
dc.descriptionThe pulse was irregular and the patient later developed acute pulmonary edema prior to death.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Left atrial myxoma.
dc.description2. Myxcoma emboli in the myocardial arteries with interstiteal fibrosis in the renal arteries with renal infarction.
dc.description3. Pronounced pulmonary edema.
