Chapter 1 introduces the study's objectives and significance within the digital context. Chapter 2 analyses South African laws on parental visitation, comparing them with international standards and identifying areas for improvement. Chapter 3 explores the practical application of visitation laws by South African courts, focusing on the benefits and challenges of virtual visitation. Chapter 4 draws lessons from international jurisdictions like Canada, the U.S., and Australia, and suggests how these can inform South African practices. Chapter 5 offers policy recommendations for improving visitation arrangements, advocating for legal reforms and ongoing research. This research aims to promote a more inclusive and flexible approach to parental visitation, prioritizing children's rights in the digital age.en_US
