Description
Clinical history : A 25 year old male who was treated for virus myocarditis and had severe central and peripheral cyanosis with bilateral crepitation, enlarged liver and a mass in the left hypochondrium.
Investigation showed signs of a lymphoma in the stomach and segmental lymphoma injury of the layers of ileum.
Autopsy findings : 1. Weak differentiating lymphocytic lymphoma of the stomach and ileum.
2. Lymphoma infiltration of the pericardium of the heart.
3. Expanded lymph nodes including the para-aortic and mediastinal nodes.
4. total infiltration with occlusion of the pulmonary veins with lymphoma.
Diagnosis: Weak differentiated lymphocytic lymphoma
