Abstract

Seven species of Taenia, hitherto unrecorded, are here described namely T. babesei and T. gongamai from lions, T. ingacei from a leopard, T. hlosei and T. acinomgri from cheetahs and T. jakhalsi and T. pungutchui from jackals; in addition the species T. multiceps and T. serialis are recorded from jackals and T. pisiformis from a wild dog.
