Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A newborn patient who's mother had a ruptur of the amniotic sac and a C-section was done due to fetal distress.
The baby was born 8 pound and 8 ounces and showed asphysxia.
Intubation was done with artificial acid reflux pumping and the child began t breath shortly after.
The apiration of the lungs was in fact none and the diagnosis of emphysema in the neck and ruptur o the alveoli was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Intra-uterine pneumonia.
2. Interstitial emphysema in lungs.
Diagnosis: Interstitial emphysema
