dc.descriptionClinical history : A 57 year old female with heart failure and rheumatic valve injury.
dc.descriptionThe patient had a mitral and aortic stenosis and incompetancy.
dc.descriptionThe patient later underwent open heart surgery with replacement of the mitral and aortic valves with a Starr-Edward prosthesis and repair of the incompetant tricuspid valve and later died of respiratory failure.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : Chronic rheumatic pancreatitis with repair of the mitral and aortic valve and tricuspid valve.
