Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 41 year old amle with an upset lower abdomen.
Apon investigation, an enlarged liver ascites and jaundice with a diagnosis of a primary liver carcinoma or liver cirrhosis was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Post-necrotic cirrhosis with siderosis and hemochromatotic distribution of the iron.
2. Pronounced ascites.
3. Pulmonary congestion with intra-alveolar bleeding.
Diagnosis: Bantu siderosis
