Description
Clinical history : A 2 month old female with chromosomal deviation in the form of the triosomy 16 to 18 chromosome group.
The patient presented with micrognathia, microstoma and microglossia with deformaty of the thorax with a small pelvis and 'rocker bottom' feet.
Autopsy findings : 1. Ventricular septal defect with a open ductus arteriosus and foramen ovale.
2. Pulmonary hypertension.
3. Mickel's diverticulum with ectopic panreatic tissue in the small intestine.
4. Bronchopneumonia.
Diagnosis: 1. Ventricular septal defect.
2. Open ductus arteriosus.
3. Pulmonary hypertension
