dc.description.abstract This short article has been written with the object of giving a condensed account of the results of investigations on female reproductive organs and observaions on the sexual life of domestic animals. It includes the results of experiments conducted with representatives of the equines (donkeys, horses and their hybrids) during a stay of one year's duration at the Veterinary Research Laboratories, Onderstepoort, Pretoria. The publication is intended as a preliminary and fragmentary announcement for general information, and not as a detailed monograph. en_US
