dc.description This work of a performing satyr is part of a set along with the work titled Strauss’ Serenade (1924). Willie Grobler, a cousin and long-time friend of Eloff posed as the dancing figure. Dancing Satyr was sold in France, it is not established if the work was ever cast in bronze and its whereabouts remain unknown. en_ZA
