dc.description |
May Belle Clarke (1894 - 1918) studied art in Paris at the same time as Fanie Eloff and it is presumed that they met there. Clarke died under the surname of Brooks at a young age of 24 in England. Eloff’s portrait of May Belle Clarke was taken to Atlanta in the United States of America by her family. The portrait could not be traced. |
