| dc.description.abstract | Slangbos, wat ook bankrotbos en vaalbos genoem word, is verwant aan die fynbosbioom, die mees suidelike element van Suid-Afrikaanse flora. Baie van die tipiese fynbosplantsoorte kom ook verder noord, noord-oos en oos in die land voor danksy bergreekse wat in hierdie rigtings uitstrek en ideale (hooggeleë) habitatte verskaf. Slangbos kom deesdae wydverspreid in die Oos-Kaap, Vrystaat, Mpumalanga, Noordwes en Gauteng voor. Slangbos kom ook voor in dele van Mosambiek, Zimbabwe, Zambië en Angola. | en_US |
