dc.description.abstract	ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Former Makalanga breed of the Shona people of eastern Zimbabwe was decimated in late 19th century by cattle plague and early 20th century by East Coast fever epidemic, and mainly Angoni cows were imported and crossed with them resulting in a sanga-zebu cattle, which can be classified as a shorthorned sanga and is now know as the Mashona cattle.	en
