dc.description.abstract The term Praeparatio Evangelica is known for some of the theological issues dealt with by Eusebius of Caesarea in his work with this name. The term, however, can also be taken from the well-known essay of Georg Bertram, Praeparatio Evangelica in der Septuaginta. According to Bertram, one can identify a threefold meaning of the Septuagint for the religion of the Hellenistic world: "1. It is especially its role regarding the latter which is important here for our study. en
