On the one hand the deconstruction of “absolute” knowledge and a universal, timeless aesthetic regulation can lead to liberation, but on the other, the deconstruction of such secure principles could lead to meaninglessness.Hierdie artikel analiseer hoe die poststruktualistiese dekonstruksie van standvastige kennis en universele ervarings, sigself in twee opponerende etiese posisies in postmoderne kuns en kultuur manifesteer.
