Abdominal aorta aneurysm was diagnosed.He was hypertensive (200/110).The aneurysm was removed surgically and aorta transplant done.Post-operatively there was poor urinary excretion and patient died a day later.Autopsy findings : Massive haemorrhage from a chronic peptic stomach ulcer. Widespread atherosclerosis. Chronic bronchitis and panacinar emphysema. Benign prostatic hypertrophy.Diagnosis: Atherosclerotic aneurysm of abdominal aorta with prosthesis.Cerebral atherosclerosis with cerebellar-cortical infarctionM169: 1. Aorta with prosthesis2.
