The model also proposes the optimal positioning of the enterprise portfolio management office (EPMO) within the organisational value chain to facilitate effective strategy execution and benefit management.enThe Journal of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering, which is distributed internationally, is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Licence (CC BY-NC-ND).Project managementStrategic managementOrganisational changeEnterprise portfolio management office (EPMO)Benefits realisation management (BRM)The strategic role of the enterprise portfolio management office in enabling the alignment and prioritisation of projects and programmes for organisational strategy executionArticle
