This study adopts a systematic scoping review to analyze the extent of corporate sustainability research in Africa. Using a predetermined search strategy applied to the comprehensive ABI/INFORM Global database, 107 articles were analyzed. This paper's contribution is threefold: (1) it reviews literature to provide an African perspective of corporate sustainability; (2) it critically synthesizes findings in the dataset to illuminate contributions and research gaps; and (3) it provides recommendations for potential future studies and policy implications to enhance management scholarship and practice.en© 2025 The Author(s).
