2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/106620Clinical history : A male child 3 years old with diagnosis of dextrocardia.After admission in the hospital a large left-sided pleural effusion was found with displacement of the heart to the right; 50 ml blood stained fluid was removed and the patient responded favourably but twelve hours after admission his condition deteriorated and he died soon afterwards.Autopsy findings : 1. A large left-sided pleural tumour with central haemorrhage; histological examination showed a neurilemmoma.2. Displacement of the heart to the right.3. General systemic congestion but no signs of any tumour metastases.Diagnosis: Neurilemmoma.M131: Left lung with intrapleural tumour (neurilemmoma)
