A substantial challenge to the status quo came from Bishop Nolbert Kunonga with the formation of the Anglican Province of Zimbabwe in his apparent attempt at “belonging” and indigenisation. However, subsequent developments testify to Kunonga’s domineering leadership style, his disregard for the doctrines, laws and traditions of the denomination.Afrikaans© The Author(s).
