The serum urea value was normal.Autopsy findings : 1. Pronounced peripheral oedema. 2. Severe ascites and secondary acute peritonitis. 3. Bronchopneumonia. 4. Large pale kidneys with lipid material visible in renal tubules.Diagnosis: Membranous nephropathy and nephrotic syndrome (lipid nephrosis)
