The shape shows a prototype of many later bronze vessels. It is possible that this form derived from the custom of leaning three pointed type vessels together over a fire.150 mm x 160 mmUnglazed earthenware from HenanCopyright of the electronic version, University of Pretoria.Li-shaped vesselChinese Neolithic tripod Li vesselImage
