A comparison with the respective types confirmed the suspicion and showed that these forms represent five distinct and so far undescribed species. Furthermore, a new species of Haematopinus collected recently off Eland, is also described in this paper. The types of all six new species are in the Onderstepoort collection.en© 1956 ARC - Onderstepoort and Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria (original). © 2016 University of Pretoria.
