2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/106623Clinical history : A 16 year old male with a heart murmur and was diagnosed with mitral stenosis and was also investigated for bacterial endocarditis.He also had splenomegaly and drumstick fingers with a mid diastolic murmur.The pulse was irregular and the patient later developed acute pulmonary edema prior to death.Autopsy findings : 1. Left atrial myxoma.2. Myxcoma emboli in the myocardial arteries with interstiteal fibrosis in the renal arteries with renal infarction.3.
