Macro-level analyses reported here show that the sector as a whole has benefited from this process; however, there have been both winners and losers. This paper explores the reforms in trade and market policies as well as the land reform programme. It concludes with a discussion on the benefits, if any, of these reforms and implementations in the lives of the different role players in the agricultural environment.254493 bytesapplication/pdfenWiley & SonsTrade policyMarket policyAgriculture -- South AfricaLand reform -- South africaSouth African agriculture in transition : the 1990sPostprint Article
