2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/106024Clinical history : A 15-year-oldfemale patient with diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis had lung X-ray suggestive of a Echinococcus cyst.Signs of chronic leptomeningitis were present and on examination of the cerebrospinal fluid, the diagnosis of cryptococcus meningitis was made.Treatment was unsuccessful.Autopsy findings : Chronic leptomeningitis and in the lower lobe of the right lung a yellowish granuloma was present.Diagnosis: Primary cryptococcus neoformans granulomaM230: Part of the lower lobe of the right lung
