Adobe Acrobat v.9 was used for the merging and conversion to the final presentation PDF-format.In the Journal of the South African Veterinary Medical Association, Volume 6, No.2, June, 1935, C.Jackson published a short index to the Government Veterinary Reports of the Transvaal (1903-1910) and the Union of South Africa (1911-1932). This index is merely an enlarged edition of Jackson's publication. The need for a fairly detailed index to the publications which emanated from the Government Veterinary Laboratories at Daspoort and Onderstepoort has long been felt. The task of finding a reference in these volumes is no easy one; and workers will undoubtedly welcome a handy index volume which will enable them to find with ease information contained in the 26 volumes which it covers.
