The functional outcome may be limited due to loss of pro- and supination. We present a case where significant bone loss of both the radius and the ulna in an adult patient was successfully reconstructed using segmental bone transport. The radius and ulna were transported independently from each other to try and maintain function. A reasonable functional result was achieved.enSouth African Orthopaedic AssociationBone transportDistraction osteogenesisForearm bone lossRadius ulna transportCement spacerIndependent segmental bone transport of the radius and ulna : a case reportArticle
