2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/105554Clinical history : A 56-year old woman with Hashimoto's disease (chronic thyroiditis) since 1973 developed haematemesis in 1977 necessitating mesocaval shunt operation.A liver biopsy showed signs of primary biliary cirrhosis and the patient developed CREST syndrome (a form of systemic sclerosis) and died with signs of liver failure.Autopsy findings : 1. Primary biliary cirrhosis.2. Bronchopneumonia.3. Scleroderma.4. Sjorgen 's disease.5. Hasimoto 's disease.Diagnosis: Primary biliary cirrhosis
