2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/106286Clinical history : An adult black man with history of dysphagia and hoarseness bad filling defect in the oesophagus and signs of oesophago-bronchial fistula.At bronchoscopy almost complete obstruction of the trachea by tumour was found.Autopsy findings : 1. Large carcinoma of the oesophagus with infiltration of trachea and left main bronchus with broncho-oesophageal fistula.2. Widespread lymph node metastases including the paratracheal nodes with secondary extension into the wall of the oesophagus above the main tumour.Diagnosis: Squamous cell carcinoma of oesophagus with extension to trachea and bronchus and lymph node metastasesM95: Mid-portion of oesophagus, trachea with bifurcation and regional lymph nodes.
