Enoxaparin is a low-molecular weight heparin (LMWH), which works on Factor Xa and is indicated for both the prevention and treatment of various thrombotic conditions. Dosing is individualised to patient and condition. There is uncertainty about the dose in obese patients, with no clear consensus on an appropriate dose.
